Dermott graduated in economics & history, moved to London and ran his own food packaging and distribution business for 16 years. Frustrated by wastage and inefficiency in the food supply chain, Dermott was attracted to RFID and nanotechnology and has unique solutions for the food sector.

Talk Title-

Health and wellbeing for all and the planet.

My talk will be brief but will cover novel eco-friendly methods to address issues in the food sector such as:
1. Making assets last longer, removing metal stress, vibration and noise
2. Eco-hygiene, how new technology is replacing chlorine and aggressive chemicals
3. Finding replacements to salt as a preservative in food processing
4. New high-quality protein from leaves
